montreal-raves started as a way to organize my friends into going to cool raves/parties/techno nights together, but is gradually mutating into a discussion list for the broader Montreal rave/party/techno/goa/trance/etc,etc,etc scene as more people subscribe. Discussion is pretty much free-style for now. Good topics include (as borrowed and adapted from the SFRavers FAQ):
