I spent a big part of the summer 2001 at the Canada/USA Mathcamp, in Waterville, Maine, a camp for young people who love math. I was Mathcamp's first ever student-teacher; I co-taught a month-and-a-half long class on theoretical Computer Science and gave a talk on "Crypto 101: What Cryptography Can Do For You!" As well, I attended tons of awesome talks and classes as a student: graph theory, coding theory, game theory with John Conway, geometry of billiards, zometool sculpture and the list goes on...Mathcamp is one of the most awesome places on earth.
